Hi, I am Felicia Espinoza. I’m with Root & Rebound. I am the  Fresno Site Director and Senior Staff Attorney. Our mission is to try to change the laws and move the laws from those that create them to the people who are most impacted by them, this includes people of color and low-income communities. We are empowering them because they are the best advocates for themselves. Especially because the laws that most impact the community are the laws about mass incarceration. We help with reentry laws to  make sure that people who are impacted have attorneys. Most of our day to day is reentry legal services.

My specific program, my day to day focuses on women in Fresno. Women in re-entry, that can mean formerly incarcerated, people with conviction histories and or CPS involvement. For the most part we focus on women of color. We stay in the Central Valley, but most of my clients are in Fresno.
